The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has released the Draft Green Chemistry Support Program Action Plan (Draft Action Plan), prepared by the Lowell Center for Sustainable Production
It was sent to stakeholders, including MCC for review and comments.

2. Build a resource database of Green Chemistry activities in Michigan.
3. Create a Green Chemistry "brand."
4. Hold a Green Chemistry Research and Education Conference in 2009.
5. Develop an annual Green Chemistry Awards Program.
6. Set the groundwork for long-term Green Chemistry efforts that will benefit the economy, environment, and health.
