MCC Policy Day at the Capitol

Please join us for our annual policy day, including a planning session for our legislative and regulatory priorities, and meetings with legislators and agency leaders.
Wednesday, February 7th

8:00am - 1:00pm (includes breakfast, meetings, and lunch)

Who Should Attend? - EHS&S managers; plant mangers & site leaders; government affairs managers; public relations managers, and others

Guest speakers include:
EPA Region 5 Administrator Cathy Stepp
Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) Chairman Sally Talberg
House Speaker Pro Tem (and next year’s likely House Speaker) Rep. Lee Chatfield
Senators (and next year’s Senate leadership) Mike Shirkey and Jim Stamas
MDEQ Director Heidi Grether, as well as Administrative Deputy Director Amy Epkey, Michigan PFAS Action Response Team Director Carol Isaacs


The MCC will also host a luncheon in the Capitol building to showcase our industry’s innovations and contributions. 

Sponsorship is encouraged to support the event and host a table for visibility at the luncheon. All sponsors will be recognized with logos prominently displayed on website, on signage, and on social media. Sponsorship of $750 includes a table/display at the luncheon, and up to two attendees.

Product contributions of 100 items are also requested as part of legislator gift bags.

For those not sponsoring, individual registration is $50 per person.
