MCC Education/Workforce Committee Meeting – Wednesday January 23rd at 10:00am – Invitation to Join MCC Presentation at Science Teachers’ Association Conference
 
Any interested MCC members are invited and encouraged to participate in a meeting on Wednesday, January 23rd at 10:00am to discuss the MCC’s Education and Workforce efforts. The meeting will wrap up by noon, with lunch provided afterward for any interested members.
 
The meeting will take place at the MCC’s offices, 326 W Ottawa St, Lansing MI 48933. If you are unable to attend in person, you may participate by using dial-in number 989-372-9023, passcode 605679.
 
The purpose of this meeting will be to give an update on the MCC’s ChemistryConnections website and how companies can use the site to advance their education outreach goals.
 
The MCC is also seeking member companies and individuals to help co-present with the MCC at the upcoming Michigan Science Teachers Association (MSTA) conference, which will be on Friday, March 1st in Grand Rapids. This is an opportunity to help present on “Making Good Chemistry with Industry Partnerships” and reach hundreds of Michigan’s science teachers.
 
A full agenda for the meeting will be provided shortly along with a reminder message. Please share with any colleagues (particularly in HR/recruiting/marketing) who may be interested to participate.
