Gov. Whitmer Proposes $5.6 billion COVID Recovery Package

On Tuesday, January 19th, Governor Whitmer announced a new economic recovery plan intended to direct federal and state funds toward immediate COVID-related needs. The plan, which totals $5.6 billion in supplemental funding, relies upon more than $5 billion in recently-approved federal assistance and $575 million in additional state general and school aid funding.
