Michigan Chemistry Council Board of Directors 2023

The Michigan Chemistry Council's board of directors is elected by its member companies on an annual basis. The Board meets quarterly to oversee the MCC’s budget and activities, establish policies and goals, and assist in growing the MCC in membership and funding.

Steve Persyn is Midland Site Leader for International Flavors & Fragrances (IFF). Mr. Persyn is a native of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University. He has been a manufacturing leader in the Michigan Operations site at Dow, SK Saran, DuPont, and now IFF. He lives in Freeland, Michigan with his wife and three children.
